Kathy Niguidula is APANO’s Bookkeeper & Office Manager. She is a mestizo/mixed race. Her father is Filipino (Pasay City) and her mother is Caucasian American. Kathy was born in Philadelphia, raised in New Jersey and Florida, and has studied and worked in New York, Houston, Boston and Rhode Island before moving to Beaverton in 2008.

Prior to joining APANO, Kathy has worked in finance and operations at non-profit organizations that provide music and arts education programs to marginalized communities at PHAME Academy and Rhode Island Philharmonic Music School. She has also worked in administration and finance in the private sector at Zylight LLC, New England Mutual Funds and Grubman, Indurksy & Schindler PC Law Firm.

As a classically trained pianist, Kathy has a background in music and music education. Currently, she teaches Early Childhood Music classes and private piano lessons at Bach to Rock Tanasbourne and she holds degrees from Eastman School of Music and The Boston Conservatory. Through her experiences teaching music to children and adults with disabilities at The Wolf School (Providence, RI) and PHAME (Portland, OR), Kathy advocates for creating accessibility and disability inclusion spaces in our schools, workplaces and in the arts community.
