Apply to be a member of APANO's board!

Applications are now open to join APANO’s 2020-2021 board of directors! We are looking for interested volunteers with a diverse set of skills, lived experience, and professional backgrounds to help lead the organization! We are looking for applicants for 501(c)(3) board, the 501(c)(4) board, and sub-committee positions.

The primary purpose of the Board is to ensure APANO is on track with our organizational goals, crafting policies in support of these goals, hiring/firing/evaluating the Executive Director, and approving the annual budget and monitoring the financial health of the organization. Day to day management and operations are led by our Executive Director. Sub-committees help inform the board and staff on important issues impacting the organization and require less of a time commitment. Current subcommittees are: Human Resources, Stewardship, Nominations, and Development.

We have shifted our timeline so that applications are due by June 30, 2020. The anticipated start date for positions are August 2020. Submissions after that date will be accepted but may not be reviewed until the next cycle.

The Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon is a statewide, grassroots organization, uniting Asians and Pacific Islanders to achieve social justice. We use our collective strengths to advance equity through empowering, organizing and advocating with our communities.
