Call for Volunteers: APANO's Community Health Forum on 4/4!
What: APANO’s Community Health Forum: Strong Families, Stronger Communities
When: April 4th Saturday 8:30 am - 4 pm
Where: OHSU Center for Health & Healing (South Waterfront Collaborative Life Sciences Building) 2730 SW Moody Avenue, Portland, OR 97201
This year, APANO’s Community Health Forum: Strong Families, Stronger Communities will focus on the strength and health of our families by exploring issues regarding health equity policy, gender equity, reproductive and queer justice, and community organizing. See detailed description of the forum at the end of this letter.
Volunteer tasks: Event setup, registration, greeting and orienting participants, and cleanup. We also need volunteers to attend workshops and share their experiences and thoughts on social media i.e. facebook, twitter, and instagram.
Volunteers for the 4/4 Health Equity Forum are strongly encouraged to attend a volunteer orientation and phone banking on 3/18 Wednesday.
Volunteer Orientation / Phone Banking Session
When: March 18th Wednesday from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Where: APANO's Jade District Office
2788 SE 82nd Ave. Ste 202 Portland, OR
Food and light refreshments will be provided! We will go over the details and tasks for the Strong Families Forum. We will also be phone banking to reach out to previous participants and APANO members.

If you are not available to volunteer on 4/4 but would still like to volunteer, we greatly need and appreciate your help preparing for the event e.g. poster making and envelope stuffing. We are seeking approximately 15 - 20 volunteers so please feel free pass this information along to fellow API community members.
