Cissey Supports Measure 101

by Dr. Cissey Ye, DAOM
Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Traditional Medicine

Oregon is my home. I grew up Beaverton, I studied Acupuncture and Chinese Traditional Medicine in Portland, and I help heal the community through my clinic in NW Portland (home of the largest concentration of Asian residents outside of SE 82nd Ave in Portland).

A significant part of my job is to help people stay healthy so they avoid getting sick. We know that preventive care is integral to our overall health - it is the first safety net in screening for potential diseases as well as providing a peace of mind. The earlier illness is detected, the earlier appropriate care can be given before complications arise. A head cold can be treated before it becomes pneumonia; a regular exam can detect cancers before it spreads. Accessible and affordable preventative care is crucial in keeping ourselves, our families, and our communities healthy. That’s why I’m voting YES on Measure 101 this January.

With Measure 101, we can prevent so much, we can treat those who need care -- affordably and compassionately. By voting Yes on Measure 101, over 400,000 Oregonians like you and I can keep the healthcare they need so they can live their lives to the fullest.
