Save the Date: April 4, APANO Community Health Forum
APANO’s Community Health Forum is a day-long gathering of Asian and Pacific Islander (API) community members, leaders, health professionals, students, organizers, allies, and activists, centered on reproductive justice, health equity policy, and community organizing. The APANO Strong Families lens is the vision that every family will have the rights, recognition, and resources it needs to thrive. APANO seeks to create a welcoming space in which to experience and highlight the messages, and beliefs of our communities and connect them to a deeper understanding of family, bodies, gender, and the policies that affect us. APANO Strong Families is about the broad spectrum of health equity, human rights, community support, and individual power that everyone needs to thrive, and the ways in which our society needs to change so that this vision can be accessible to all.
