We Need Your Help TODAY to Make Roots to Rise a Reality!

Dear Friends,

In the past month since we launched our Roots to Rise campaign, we’ve seen an outpouring of love and support for this community-driven endeavor to make a permanent cultural center in the Jade District a reality. We are halfway to our goal, and we need you to push us to the finish line a little earlier than anticipated!

Due to a payment processing issue within IndieGoGo, we’ve been notified certain campaigns (including our Roots to Rise campaign) will not be able to receive donations past February 28. So now we’re left with two options: 1) Try to raise the remaining amount in less than 1 week, or 2) Make a new campaign from scratch.

We’re going with Option 1 - to raise the remaining amount in less than 1 week. Why? Because we know we have the support to do this. More importantly, because we’re in a time where our communities are in great need for safe gathering spaces that respect our identities.
