11: Dance Co., Jade and Midway Districts Dance Performances

This project worked to reclaim neighborhood public spaces (sidewalks, bus stops, parks) through dance. 11: Dance Co. filmed a series of site specific dance pieces that transformed ordinary spaces into stages. The theme was nature juxtaposed against the city. 11: Dance Co has always specialized in fusing dance styles, improvisation, and rich costuming to create a new, immersive experience using familiar places in unfamiliar ways.
