November 2016 Candidate Questionnaires
APANO reached out to candidates in several races that we identified as important elected positions for Asian and Pacific Islanders, giving each candidate equal opportunity to respond to a list of questions regarding issues important to APIs in Oregon. We encourage you to reflect on their answers and discuss with family and friends as you make your decisions. Candidates’ responses are post as-is, within our word count. APANO makes no endorsements and this information is educational only.
Pair Candidate Responses with our Who's Who of 2016 Oregon Politics Guide for complete information on elections official positions, responsibilities, and how their decisions affect our API communities in Oregon.
We gave equal opportunity to all major candidates in the race, all those who responded to our questionnaire were included in this post. To view the questions and candidate responses, click on the specific position you're interested in.
