Small Business Spring 2026

When we invest in our small business owners, we strengthen our local economy. At APANO, we aim to create long-term empowerment and economic resilience through our communities, especially for BIPOC, immigrants and refugees. That’s why we’re excited to announce Small Business Spring!
Throughout April and May, Small Business Spring is a free, hybrid workshop series for new and seasoned small business owners. Whether you’ve been wanting to expand your business, or sitting on an idea and not sure where to start, these workshops are tailored to any stage in owning your business.
Canva Basics with Joon Ae HK

We are now offering our workshops in a hybrid format to reach more people. You can attend this workshop either virtually on Zoom or at our APANO Eastside Portland location.
We will have breaks, water, and snacks. COVID and other illnesses are going around. Please consider wearing a mask (optional) or stay home if you are sick or experiencing symptoms.
Transportation & Parking to Portland Location
8188 SE Division St Portland 97206
- Trimet Bus 72 and FX-2 serve the venue
- Street parking is in the neighborhood and some is available at PCC SE Campus with metered parking.
- Enter at the large glass doors on Division Street near the orange Biketown racks.
When we support small businesses, we strengthen our local economy and uplift the food, culture, and people that make our community thrive. That’s why we say small business work is racial justice work as much as it is economic justice itself. With the national SBA at risk, now is the time to come together, and support neighbors, neighborhoods, and small businesses we call home. Let’s do this work together.
